Abstract

Electronic Supply Chain Management (e-SCM) is a distinct form of inter-organizational systems, which is generally considered as one of the key strategies for creating competitive advantage. The e-SCM diffusion among business partners is of great importance in terms of its ultimate usage and successful impact of its performance. However, the process of diffusion is a complex and dynamic process in its nature and evolves evolutionary ownership over time. Innovation diffusion theory (IDT) is defined on the basis of an effective review of the diffusion process with different stages.
