One of the skills required by managers at all levels of the organization is human skills. It is impossible to obtain this skill without knowing the motivation, which is one of the most important issues of organizational behavior. This article explains the importance and role of motivation in an organization and its definition. Also, the motivation process, the difficulties, and complexities of this issue are expressed. Finally, how to link the motivational processes with other organizational variables, past research findings, and practical recommendations, will be presented, so that with more focus on these issues, more efficiency and effectiveness can be achieved.
