Abstract

Abstract: Hospitals provide some health services and appropriate health facilities to the community that hospitalization is one of these health services. Due to the high daily demand for hospital care, it seems that some hospitals have become more abusive in controlling the flow of information. Basically, hospitals use the Hospital Information System (HIS) for managing the flow of information. But some hospitals do not really care about the quality of information. Quality of information is a key element in determining the level of health in the hospital. The quality of health will be improved by improving the quality of information to support patient satisfaction. Six-Sigma is the method used to improve the quality of information. Six-Sigma can be used to reduce the fluctuation of information in the health area, especially the information used in the hospital information system.
