Abstract

The concept of security has become wider and more complex in the twenty-first century. The military and political security were of the most important in the last two centuries while the economic security has been prioritized over it in the current century. The economic security also, like the word security itself, has become a wide and complex concept. Nowadays, a special importance is considered for the index of the economic security in evaluating the development level of the countries. The economic security is of such a capacity that can influence all pillars of the country. In this study, the previous studies on economic security were investigated and it was sought to redefine this important strategic concept with a simple functional language and generally explain its importance and place in the economically sustainable development
