Systems Based On Artificial Intelligence Used in Industrial Marketing: An Overview of the Past, Present and Future Prospects of These Systems

Abstract

Intelligent systems have a specific potential and strength to support decisions based on situations that companies and institutions face, especially for companies that have a strategic nature, where it is essential to have a proper strategic intelligence. In this paper, we review the history of past studies on systems based on artificial intelligence used in marketing over the last few decades (from 1970 up to now), of course with a particular focus on applications of industrial marketing. A detailed study is presented with conclusions and some future perspectives. Then, briefly, we introduce a collection of articles on this particular subject.
