Identifying Effective Factors On the Implementation of Knowledge Management Based On Business Strategies

Abstract

Knowledge is a valuable and strategic resource as well as a remarkable asset and it is difficult and sometimes impossible to provide economical and high quality products and services without management and using this valuable resource. Today, knowledge management has become one of the important activities of today's organizations to improve and maintain competitive advantage, whose ultimate goal is to exploit and develop knowledge assets in line with realizing goals and create value added for the organization. Considering knowledge management in formulating business strategies for gaining competitive advantage is vital. Therefore, identifying effective factors on the implementation of knowledge management based on business strategies was considered in this study. In this regard, 55 factors influencing the implementation of knowledge management were extracted. Their relationship with business strategies was determined using the Delphi method and obtaining opinions of experts which on this basis, 35 effective factors in 6 leadership, strategy, infrastructure, structure, Cultural and scientific dimensions were approved by experts. The dimension of leadership is of great importance among the dimensions identified. After that, the dimensions of strategy and science have played a role. Overall, a total of 64% of identified agents were confirmed.
