Abstract

Nowadays, the subject of video surveillance is very important. One of the applications of video surveillance is the care of the elderly and the analysis of their behaviors. In this article, an applied method for categorizing and detecting human behaviors is presented using the Markov Hidden model. To this end, we first extract the behavioral characteristics and generate the characteristic vector. Then these features are classified by the Markov hidden model. Ultimately, abnormal behavior is detected by detection and identification system. The results obtained from the proposed method indicate a precision of 94% and comparing it with similar methods, it shows that the proposed method has a high efficiency in determining the correct behavior of individuals.
