The present study was conducted with the purpose of comparing the diagnostic power of Bender Visual‐Motor perceptual Gestalt Test and EEG test in brain lesions. The study population was all patients referred to the hospital who was diagnosed with brain damage. A sample of 40 patients was selected using available sampling method, and Bender Visual‐Motor perceptual Gestalt Test and EEG test had been performed on them. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and McNemar and Xi statistical methods. The research results show: - There is a significant difference between Bender Visual‐Motor perceptual Gestalt Test and EEG in detecting a brain lesion. - The EEG test is more effective in detecting mild brain damages comparing to Bender Visual‐Motor perceptual Gestalt Test. - The EEG test is not more powerful in diagnosing severe brain damage than the Bender Visual‐Motor perceptual Gestalt Test and shows that EEG test functions similarly in the diagnosis of mild and severe brain damages. Keywords: Bender Visual‐Motor perceptual Gestalt Test, electroencephalograph Test (EEG), Brain Lesion.
