Job burnout is one of the most important damages that in recent years, after job stress, have attracted the greatest attention of the researchers in occupational health. The significance of this damage and its consequences for the individual and organization has led to a number of approaches to confront and counteract them, and to conduct studies on these approaches. One of these approaches is positive organizational behavior. Positive organizational behavior as a branch of organizational behavior - discussed in recent years in the field of positive psychosis – that has led to a reduction in job damage, including burnout in individuals. Thus, the present study examined the relationship between these two models in the form of structural equation models. The findings indicated a significant negative relationship between psychological capital as the main component of positive organizational behavior and burnout as a job damage. Moreover, the results suggested that from among the aspects of psychological capital, hope has the highest negative correlation with job burnout.
