Investigating the Outsourcing Process in the Organizations and Offering a Model for Resolving Delays in the Delivery of the Outsourced Works

Abstract

Nowadays, the various governmental organizations and institutions have paid a great deal of attention to outsourcing as an effective and strategic decision in favor of such gains and advantages like reduction of the costs, increasing of the service quality and attainment of novel technologies that have not been previously available in the organization. However, the situation sometimes turns out the way that certain risks are found accompanied with outsourcing and unfavorable and unexpected results follow accordingly, in such a manner that they make the organization deviate from sublimation in its strategic path. The current research paper is the result of studies carried out with the objective of identifying the reasons contributing to delaying of the works that have been outsourced. The study is an applied research and its general framework encompasses a set of three aspects, namely introducing the work outsourcing process, pathology of outsourcing and investigation and analysis of the delay factors. The study makes use of library research and investigation of written and electronic documents existent in the organization’s library as well as the international information networks (internet and so forth). The results of the study are expressive the entire work outsourcing processes following which a simple model is offered for preventing the outsourced projects from being delayed.
