Investigating Management and Its Effect on Employee Performance

Abstract

The management process consists of five elements namely planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and staffing. It contributes to various sectors of society, including the state, industry, trade, and education. This study aimed to investigate how to manage and its impact on employee performance. The statistical population of this research is the ministry of industry, mine and trade in Tehran province. This research is descriptive. The data collection method is library and questionnaire method which consists of a main hypothesis and five sub-hypotheses. The results of the research hypotheses specified that the impact of proper management on improving employee performance in the ministry of industry, mine and trade in Tehran province is assessed higher than average. Furthermore, the level of all dimensions evaluated based on Kirkpatrick’s model was assessed higher than average and at an optimum level as well. Since the assessment of the status of practical in-service training courses for all organizations is of particular importance in spite of the costs incurred in this regard, it attracts the attention of organizations more than ever.
