Examining The Factors Affecting the Design of Business Modeling in Infrastructure Management

Siân Howell, Dilys Vaughan

Abstract

Today, business models used in commerce would have some benefits for customers who offer benefits to their customers offering the value of a companion tool, such as the use of a service in any location, comfort, localization, and personalization. This study examines the effective factors in designing components of the business model in infrastructure management and trade products using the Strooleder's Business Modeling Ontology. Among these factors extracted by a qualitative meta-synthetic method, the most important ones are infrastructure management block and the value configuration component, including network management, technology management. In the functionality component, it includes data integrity, service level integration, and integration in the service delivery structure, supporting global, and security standards. In partnership components, it includes the competitive advantage of active partners, the division of roles and responsibilities in the value chain, governance model, regulatory support, and the proportionality of the services received with the contracts. The mean of the population test was used to confirm and validate the identified factors, analyzing the variance of the group, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As is deduced from the analysis of relations between variables, there is a positive relationship between effective factors in designing a business model coupled with the dimensions in the model: infrastructure management as an independent variable with product dimension as a dependent variable. If the main actors of trade generate proper interactive mechanisms, they can increase the efficiency of their value chain as well, whereas benefiting from each other's capabilities. The capabilities of the partners will be more important because of their competitive advantage in the network and appropriate allocation of appropriate roles and responsibilities in the value chain is required. Given the range of technologies used in commerce, managing and designing appropriate development plans to support different standards, it will have a significant effect on trade performance. A major factor in gaining the trust of users, security has a great role in the use of mobile devices. Keyword: Business model, presentable value, key activities, partnership, value configuration.
